Madrid gathered community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco eu news channel artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.
In the discussion, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when rooted in respect for human rights.
